LIDOM 🇩🇴

Aguilas and Licey played the first Dominican League Baseball game on American soil at Citi Field in New York tonight. Over 25,000 fans attended, making it the highest attended LIDOM game in history. Aguilas picked up the 3-0 win and RHP Osvaldo Bido picked up the save with a scoreless 9th inning, striking out old friend Miguel Andujar in the process.

Endy Rodriguez started at catcher and hit cleanup for Estrellas. He went 0 for 3 with 2 walks. He is off to a .100/.308/.200 start in 13 plate appearances.

Hunter Stratton had a rough outing for Toros. He was unable to protect a 1-run lead in the 8th inning when entering with 2 outs. He was then lifted in the 9th after one out following a double and an intentional walk, and was eventually pegged with the loss. He raises his ERA to 6.00 in 6 IP with 9 strikeouts, 5 walks, and 8 hits given up.
