It is that time of year again, and as hard as it is to believe Pirates fans have reasons to be thankful.

1. Andrew McCutchen played for the Pirates from 2009-2017
2. Oneil Cruz is reportedly healthy.
3. Andrew McCutchen returned to the Pirates in 2023.
4. Bryan Reynolds‘s wife is not pregnant.
5. Andrew McCutchen will play for the Pirates in 2024
6. Paul Skenes may be too good for Oscar Marin to ruin.
7. Mitch Keller doesn’t have elbow or shoulder issues.
8. The Pirates have won five World Series, ranking seventh among all MLB teams.
9. The Pirates have 15 Hall of Famers.
10. The Pirates have had players nicknamed The Flying Dutchman, Babe, Big Poison, Little Poison, Pie, Arky, Scrap Iron, Pops, The Cobra, Mad Dog, Scoop, Goose, and Doc.
11. The Pirates currently have 73 middle infielders who cannot play SS. One of them has to be able to play 2B.
12. The Pirates are excellent at recording videos of minor league players getting told they are getting called to the Majors.
13. The Pirates have a highly rated Minor League system.
14. In these crazy economic times, the Pirates are very frugal.
15. There are always good seats available at PNC Park.
