Arbitration is always messy and it’s nice the Pirates were able to settle with everyone. Less drama for everyone this way.

Today’s news comes after the Pirates agreed to terms with Ryan Borucki in November and JT Brubaker yesterday.

David Bednar was projected at $4.7m, Mitch Keller at $6m, Edward Olivares at $1.8m, and Connor Joe at $2m, so the Pirates came in under projections for three of the four today.

I’m sure Ethan Hullihen will get around to updating his spreadsheet, but it looks like this will put the Pirates current opening day payroll somewhere in the range of $68m.
