Georgetown @ Villanova: 6:30 FS1
Villanova is still in the hunt for an at-large bid. Currently on the wrong side of the bubble, the Wildcats will have three Q1 opportunities for their final three games. They cannot afford to take a loss at home to Georgetown.
Frank’s pick: Villanova -16.5
Cincinnati @ Houston: 7:00 ESPN2
Cincinnati has a lot of work to do to earn an at-large bid. A win at Houston would significantly boost their chances of making the NCAA tournament. Conversely, Houston might still have a path to the top overall seed come March. In the Big 12, they will still have opportunities to chase down Purdue and UConn.
Brody’s pick: Houston -13.5
Frank’s pick: Houston -13.5
Pittsburgh @ Clemson: 7:00 ACC Network
Pitt is currently on the wrong side of the bubble. A win at Clemson would move them much closer to the field. This is the Panthers’ last Q1 opportunity in regular season play. Meanwhile, Clemson could still make a push for a 4 seed.
Brody’s pick: Pitt +6.5
Frank’s pick: Pitt +6.5
Texas @ Texas Tech: 9:00 ESPN
Texas is squarely on the bubble, but a win at Texas Tech would likely get them off of it. With a loss, Texas could be dangerously close to the cutline.
Brody’s pick: Texas Tech -3.5
Frank’s pick: Texas Tech -3.5
Wake Forest @ Notre Dame: 9:00 ACC Network
After a win against Duke, Wake Forest got themselves clearly into the field. However, a loss at Notre Dame could undo this. The Demon Deacons would be in trouble with a loss tonight.
Frank’s pick: Wake Forest -6.5
Nevada @ Colorado State: 10:30 FS1
Both of these teams are just above the bubble for me. For Nevada, they could add a Q1 road win tonight to solidify their résumé. Either team would be in danger of falling down to the bubble with a loss.
Frank’s pick: Colorado State -7.5
