Villanova @ Providence: 12:00 FOX
Villanova’s final three regular season games will likely all be Q1 opportunities. A road win at Providence could boost the Wildcats into the projected field. On the other side, Providence will be dangerously close to the cutline with a loss.
Frank’s pick: Providence -2.5
Butler @ DePaul: 12:00 FS1
Butler might not have a path to an at-large bid as things currently stand. With a loss at DePaul, any path would definitively close.
Frank’s pick: Butler -13.5
Oregon @ Arizona: 2:00 ESPN
Oregon is currently on the wrong side of the bubble, but a win at Arizona could boost them into the field. This could be Oregon’s last chance to add a Q1 win to their résumé. A loss today would make Oregon’s chances at an at-large bid very unlikely. On the other side, Arizona is looking to stack wins to make their case for a 1 seed.
Frank’s pick: Arizona -13.5
Oklahoma State @ Texas: 2:00 ESPN2
Texas has been on and off the bubble all throughout the season. The Longhorns are above the bubble at the moment, but a Q3 loss to Oklahoma State could put them back on it.
Frank’s pick: Texas -9.5
NC State @ North Carolina: 4:00 ESPN
As things currently stand, NC State might not have a path to an at-large bid. With a loss at North Carolina, any remaining path would close for the Wolfpack. Meanwhile, North Carolina is still in contention for a 1 seed, but a loss would damage their chances.
Frank’s pick: NC State +10.5
Misissippi State @ Auburn: 4:00 ESPN2
A win at Auburn would make Mississippi State a near lock to make the NCAA tournament. A loss would put the Bulldogs squarely on the bubble. With a win, Auburn could improve its case for a spot on the top four seed lines.
Frank’s pick: Auburn -8.5
Wake Forest @ Virginia Tech: 5:30 CW Network
Wake Forest is right around the cutline at the moment, as their win against Florida bounces between Q1 and Q2. A win at Virginia Tech would put them clearly on the right side of the bubble.
Brody’s pick: Virginia Tech -1.5
Frank’s pick: Wake Forest +1.5
Iowa @ Northwestern: 5:30 BTN
Iowa has work to do to earn an at-large bid. Lucky for the Hawkeyes, they have two Q1 opportunities for their final two games. With a loss today, Iowa might not have a path to earning an at-large bid. On the other side of this matchup, Northwestern could find itself on the bubble with a loss.
Brody’s pick: Iowa +3.5
Frank’s pick: Iowa +3.5
Virginia @ Duke: 6:00 ESPN
A win at Duke could guarantee Virginia a spot in March Madness. However, a loss would put the Cavaliers right around the cutline, with no remaining Q1 opportunities in regular season play. Meanwhile, Duke could still make a push for a 2 seed.
Frank’s pick: Virginia +8.5
Pitt @ Boston College: 6:00 ACC Network
Pitt has a lot of work to do to reach the projected field. With limited opportunities remaining, the Panthers must win this Q2 road game. A loss to the Golden Eagles would likely eliminate the Panthers from the race for an at-large bid.
Frank’s pick: Pitt -1.5
Texas Tech @ West Virginia: 6:00 ESPN2
Texas Tech will find themselves on the bubble with a loss at West Virginia. The Red Raiders still have work to do to lock up a spot in the NCAA tournament.
Frank’s pick: West Virginia +3.5
Texas A&M @ Georgia: 6:00 SEC Network
Texas A&M has been fluctuating between 4 and 5 Q3 losses. To call this a blemish on their résumé would be an understatement. With a loss at Georgia, the Aggies would have no path to an at-large bid.
Frank’s pick: Georgia ML
Kansas State @ Cincinnati: 7:00 Big 12 Network
Cincinnati would be eliminated from at-large contention will a loss tonight. Meanwhile, this is Kansas State’s ‘easiest’ chance at a Q1 win for the remainder of regular season play. Kansas State still has games at Kansas and at Iowa State, so there might still be a narrow path to an at-large bid with a loss to the Bearcats.
Frank’s pick: Cincinnati -6.5
Michigan State @ Purdue: 8:00 FOX
Michigan State could lock themselves into the projected NCAA tournament field with a win at Purdue. A loss tonight would keep the Spartans are flirting with the bubble. On the other side, Purdue will look to continue outpacing UConn for the top overall seed in the projected bracket.
Brody’s pick: Purdue -10.5
Frank’s pick: Purdue -10.5
Syracuse @ Louisville: 8:00 ACC Network
Syracuse’s path to an at-large bid is extremely narrow, with an upcoming Q1 opportunity at Clemson. A loss at Louisville would eliminate the Orange from at-large contention.
Frank’s pick: Syracuse -4.5
New Mexico @ Boise State: 8:00 CBSSN
Thanks to a devastating loss to Air Force, New Mexico is sitting right around the cutline. A win at Boise State would give the Wolfpack some breathing room in the stretch run.
Frank’s pick: Boise State -3.5
Ole Miss @ Missouri: 8:30 SEC Network
Ole Miss would be eliminated from at-large contention with a loss at Missouri. Even with a win at Missouri, the Rebels have a very narrow path to earning an at-large bid.
Frank’s pick: Missouri +1.5
Cal @ Utah: 9:00 Pac-12 Network
Utah’s tournament chances would be on life support with a home loss to Cal tonight. The Utes cannot afford to take a loss before their regular season finale at Oregon.
Frank’s pick: Cal +8.5
