North Shore Nine

The Pirates lost to the Orioles 6-4 tonight. Their spring training record is now 5-7.

Mitch Keller started the game, going four innings and allowing three runs. Two of those runs came on a two-run bomb by Anthony Santander. Carmen Mlodzinski and Braxton Ashcraft each posted scoreless innings in relief.

All four of the Pirates’ runs came in the fourth inning. Liover Peguero led the offense, going 2-2 with a run scored. Jared Triolo, Alika Williams, and Jake Lamb also tallied hits.

The Pirates will not play tomorrow. On Friday, they will split their squad to take on the Twins and Braves at 1:05. Martin Perez and Marco Gonzales are slated for starts.
