Notre Dame vs Wake Forest: 2:30 ESPN

In the second round of the ACC tournament, Notre Dame will battle with Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons’ tournament hopes will evaporate with a loss today. Wake Forest already dropped a game at Notre Dame earlier in the season. With a win, Wake Forest would have a matchup with Pitt in the ACC Quarterfinals. If this matchup comes to fruition, it could be a play-in game for the NCAA tournament.

Frank’s pick: Notre Dame +8.5

Oklahoma vs TCU: 3:00 Big 12 Network

Both of these teams are currently in the projected tournament field. For me, Oklahoma is among my ‘Last Four Byes,’ while TCU is a low 9-seed. The winner of this game should become a lock for an at-large bid. Meanwhile, the loser will be sweating out Selection Sunday.

Brody’s pick: TCU -2.5
Frank’s pick: Oklahoma +2.5

Xavier vs Butler: 4:00 FS1

Butler’s odds to go dancing are already long. With a loss, the Bulldogs would be eliminated from at-large contention.

Frank’s pick: Xavier -1.5

San Jose State vs Colorado State: 4:30

Colorado State is just above the bubble for me. However, a loss to San Jose State would severely damage the Rams’ résumé, placing them squarely on the bubble.

Frank’s pick: Colorado State -15.5

Georgetown vs Providence: 6:30 FS1

Providence will need a deep run in the Big East tournament to have a chance at an at-large bid. With a loss to Ed Cooley’s Hoyas, Providence would be eliminated from at-large contention.

Frank’s pick: Georgetown +10.5

NC State vs Syracuse: 7:00 ESPN2

Syracuse’s chances of earning an at-large bid are slim. However, with a deep ACC tournament run, the Orange could be in the running to go to Dayton.

Brody’s pick: NC State +1.5
Frank’s pick: Syracuse -1.5

Kansas State vs Texas: 7:00 Big 12 Network

Kansas State will need a deep run in the Big 12 tournament to be considered for a spot in the NCAA tournament. Meanwhile, Texas is a lock to make the field, but could improve their résumé this week to earn a higher seed.

Frank’s pick: Texas -4.5

DePaul vs Villanova: 9:00 FS1

Needless to say, Villanova cannot afford a loss to DePaul. With a win, the Wildcats would face Marquette in the Big East quarterfinals. The Wildcats might need at least three wins to earn an at-large bid, pending the results of other bubble teams.

Frank’s pick: Villanova -23.5

Arizona State vs Utah: 11:30 Pac-12 Network

Utah might need to reach the Pac-12 championship to be in contention for an at-large bid. With a win, the Utes would face Colorado in the quarterfinals, a Q1 opportunity.

Brody’s pick: Arizona State +5.5
Frank’s pick: Arizona State +5.5

Note: Indiana State has moved into the projected field, with St. John’s falling out
