Probable Starters:
PIT – Quinn Priester (0-0 7.04 ERA)
NYY – Clarke Schmidt (0-0, 5.19 ERA)

Quinn Priester will take the mound for the fourth time this spring. He will be looking to show he can work efficiently, and get through the lineup twice. Priester has struggled this spring, and last season with navigating a lineup the second time around.
Following Priester, the Pirates are expected to go with Luis Ortiz and Kyle Nicolas.
Ortiz has looked solid so far this spring, only allowing 3 earned runs over 8 innings, along with 11 strikeouts.
Nicolas is very interesting, despite the 9.00 ERA he is currently holding. The stuff is obviously there, it will just be a matter of harnessing the movement. He was acquired in the trade of Jacob Stallings.
It will be a relatively weak lineup for the Buccos today as they make the trip to Tampa to face the Yankees. However, guys like Nick Gonzales, Jason Delay, and Edward Olivares will get important at bats against Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt.
Given the injuries to former Pirate Gerrit Cole, the Yankees will be looking to Schmidt to provide more innings than originally planned.
