After a rollercoaster first game of the season, that included bonus baseball, the Pirates prepare for game 2. Martin Perez will get his first regular season start with the Pirates coming off a World Series ring with the Texas Rangers last year. He will face off versus A.J. Puk and the Marlins.

Derek Shelton puts forth his second different lineup in as many day, which can be excused after a extra inning game yesterday. Edward Olivares gets the start today in RF with Connor Joe taking over at 1B, giving Rowdy Tellez the day off. Jack Suwinski will again come off the bench due to the lefthanded starter for the Marlins. The key to the game will be trying to chase Puk early to get back into a taxed Marlins bullpen.
