JT Brubaker, who is currently on the 60-Day IL while rehabbing a torn UCL from last April, has been traded to the New York Yankees for a Player To Be Named Later according to Alex Stumpf of MLB.com. The Pirates are also sending international bonus pool money to the Yankees.

Brubaker, who was Pittsburgh’s 6th round pick in 2015, finishes his Pirates tenure with a 9-28 record to go along with a 4.99 ERA over three seasons.

Brubaker was making $2.25m this season, so this reduces the Pirates payroll to roughly $83.5m.
