The Pirates will look for a 4 game sweep of the Fish as Bailey Falter takes the mound for his first start of 2024. Falter will need to get off to a good start after struggling through Spring Training (3 GS, 7.88 ERA, 1.56 WHIP).

The Bucs will face a fourth consecutive left-handed starter in the form of Trevor Rogers. Rogers will be looking to bounce back from an injury plagued 2023, as he has not pitched in the majors since April 19th, 2023.

Oneil Cruz and Henry Davis both get the day off. Alika Williams and Jason Delay will take their places. Andrew McCutchen will start on the bench for a second straight game against a lefty.

Roansy Contreras is back with the big-league club following his time on the paternity list. The corresponding roster move sent Jose Hernandez to Triple-A Indianapolis.
