Pirates – KDKA-FM 93.7

Probable Starters:
PIT – Mitch Keller (2-2, 4.22 ERA)
LAA– Tyler Anderson (1-2, 5.13 ERA)

The Pirates look to Mitch Keller this evening to get back to pitching like he did last year versus a Mike Trout less Angels. He will face off versus Tyler Anderson who has only spent 18 games outside of the Western leagues, when he played for the Pirates in 2021. The Pirates will need to get the offense to click like it did Sunday against one of the worse pitching teams in baseball this season. If they can it could set them up nicely moving into a stretch against divisional opponents.

Derek Shelton going up against yet another lefty starter will have to keep some of his hotter bats on the bench to start tonight. Oneil Cruz is the only lefty getting the start tonight after a two-homerun weekend. Connor Joe will bat clean-up tonight followed by Edward Olivares and Joey Bart. Hopefully the offense can continue to climb out of their funk and put up a few crooked numbered innings.
