Spring Training is officially here, and Pirates fans got their first look at some of the team’s top young talent in action. On the latest episode of Starbucs from North Shore Nine, DiNardo and Jim broke down the debuts of Bubba Chandler and Konnor Griffin, two of the Bucs’ most exciting prospects.

Chandler wasted no time impressing, hitting 99.1 mph on his first pitch. While he had some control issues, his electric stuff was undeniable. Griffin, meanwhile, showed off his speed and athleticism, going from first to third with ease. The guys also discussed Termarr Johnson’s potential breakout season and the ongoing battle at catcher, where Henry Davis and Endy Rodríguez are looking to earn a roster spot.
