North Shore Nine

The NS9 Postgame Show wrapped up its spring training slate as the Pirates fell 2-1 to the Red Sox. Despite the loss, there were some standout performances worth highlighting.

Mitch Keller looked sharp in his final outing before Opening Day, tossing three scoreless innings with five strikeouts and no walks. He continues to build momentum heading into the regular season.

Joey Bart stayed hot at the plate with another double, while Tommy Pham reached base three times and looked every bit the steady veteran presence the Pirates hoped for.

Jack Suwinski made his case for a roster spot, adding a hit, a stolen base, and an impressive diving grab in center field. The battle between Suwinski and Ji Hwan Bae for the final bench spot is heating up.

Henry Davis struggled at the plate, while Endy Rodríguez appears to be pulling ahead in the backup catcher race. In the bullpen, David Bednar tossed a clean inning, but Dennis Santana continues to turn heads with his efficiency.

With three spring games left, final roster decisions loom—and the regular season can’t come soon enough.
