The Pittsburgh Pirates suffered a tough 4-0 loss to the Cincinnati Reds, getting swept in the series. In today’s NS9 Postgame Show, Anthony DiNardo and Doug reflect on another lifeless performance, as Hunter Greene stifled the Pirates’ offense completely. From early struggles to a lack of offensive spark, the team was unable to recover after giving up a grand slam to the Reds. Despite a solid pitching effort from Andrew Heaney, the Pirates couldn’t generate any momentum, with a lineup that left much to be desired.

The return of Henry Davis didn’t bring immediate improvements, and Kyle Nicolas had shaky command in his outing. However, Alexander Canario’s home run provided a slight silver lining for Pirates fans.
