The Pirates bounced back in a big way with a 6-1 win over the Nationals, and the NS9 Postgame Show powered by Primanti Bros. was there to break it all down. Bailey Falter turned in his best start of the season, carving through Washington with 7 innings of two-hit ball while pounding the zone and inducing weak contact. The offense finally came alive, too—Henry Davis opened the scoring with his first big-league homer in nearly 10 months, and Oneil Cruz put the game away with a towering grand slam following a benches-clearing moment that fired up the team. Even the bullpen kept things (mostly) tidy to seal the win.
