The Pirates gave fans a reason to smile as they shut out the Angels 3-0 in another much-needed win on the West Coast. In this episode of the NS9 Postgame Show powered by Primanti Bros., Tyler and Doug dive into Andrew Heaney’s dominant outing—striking out the first six batters and flashing that bulldog mentality. Oneil Cruz continued his strong stretch with two more hits (including a homer) and a stolen base, while the entire lineup contributed with at least one hit. The guys also rave about seeing the same lineup two days in a row (finally) and question why that took so long. David Bednar, Caleb Ferguson, and Dennis Santana locked things down late, and it’s becoming clear this team’s best shot at success is built around solid pitching, stable lineups, and stars doing star things. Is it too soon to say “we’re back?” Maybe. But for now, we’re vibing.
