The Pirates were shut out 9–0 by the Cubs, and the NS9 Postgame Show powered by Primanti Bros. captured all the frustrating details. The Pirates’ offense made some hard contact, but once again failed to produce runs. No strikeouts from the pitching staff, and plenty of loud outs at the plate, made for a deflating night at PNC Park. Colin Holderman’s latest stumble and a dismal 0-for-5 performance with runners in scoring position were just a few of the lowlights.
