On the latest NS9 Postgame Show powered by Primanti Bros., Ryan and Doug recap a frustrating 8–3 loss to the Cubs on what was supposed to be a celebratory Paul Skenes Day. Instead, the Pirates’ ace had his first real clunker, walking four and surrendering three home runs in one inning—equaling the total he’d given up all season. Despite an early lead and flashes from Oneil Cruz and Bryan Reynolds, the offense once again disappeared, and Don Kelly’s bullpen management in Derek Shelton’s absence left much to be desired.
