Bailey Falter shoved, and the Pirates finally found themselves back in the win column with a 1-0 shutout over the Reds. On this episode of the NS9 Postgame Show powered by Primanti Bros, DiNardo and Tyler broke down Falter’s seven-inning gem and his recent hot stretch—just one earned run allowed over his last 23.2 innings. They also touched on Oneil Cruz’s encouraging return to the lineup, Spencer Horwitz’s professional at-bats and surprisingly solid defense, and the growing unease around David Bednar reclaiming the closer role.

While the offense remained anemic—scoring one run for the 25th straight game under four runs—it was all about Falter’s pinpoint command and dominance. The boys gave the lefty his flowers, even admitting they were once haters.
