In the latest NS9 Postgame Show powered by Primanti Bros., Jim and Ryan recap what might be the most exhilarating Pirates win of the season. After falling behind 6-0 to the Diamondbacks, the Bucs roared back with nine unanswered runs to pull off a stunning 9-6 victory.
Henry Davis was the spark, entering the game after Joey Bart’s injury and immediately delivering a two-run homer and a key double. Isiah Kiner-Falefa tied it with a bases-clearing double, and Bryan Reynolds capped the seventh-inning explosion with a go-ahead three-run blast as part of his four-hit night.
The bullpen was lights out, with Dennis Santana and David Bednar combining for six up, six down to seal the win. Jim and Ryan also break down Joey Wentz’s up-and-down outing and make the case for more consistent playing time for Davis.
