Heaney was sharp through six before exiting with a calf cramp, and Mattson—fresh up from Triple-A—bailed him out of a jam with a dominant three-out appearance. Henry Davis stayed hot, homering in back-to-back games and showing signs he’s turning the corner both offensively and defensively. David Bednar closed it out with yet another efficient inning, continuing his dominant stretch since returning from Triple-A.
