Doug and Cody held it down on the NS9 Postgame Show after the Pirates actually stole a 2-1 win over the Blue Jays. Johan Oviedo looked shaky after George Springer’s leadoff bomb, but he locked in and punched out six over five gutsy innings. Then came Tommy Pham, who straight-up stood on business, ripping a two-run double that gave the Bucs all the offense they’d need. From there, the bullpen finally showed up — Kyle Nicholas, Isaac Mattson, and Dennis Santana slammed the door without breaking a sweat. As Doug and Cody put it, this was the rare night where the Pirates followed the blueprint: just enough hitting, lights-out pitching, and for once, fans left smiling.
