The North Shore Nine Postgame Show, powered by Primanti Brothers, broke down a historic night in St. Louis as the Pirates edged the Cardinals 2–1. Hosts Jim and Tyler may have been laughing about their matching yellow shirts, but the real spotlight was on Bubba Chandler.

In just his second big-league outing, Chandler notched his first career win, following up a debut save. It marked the first time a Pirate had opened his career with a save and a win since 1989—and the first time since at least 1901 that a Pittsburgh pitcher started with back-to-back four-inning scoreless appearances. Chandler’s electric fastball touched triple digits, while his command and devastating changeup left hitters guessing.

Offensively, it only took one inning. A Jared Triolo walk, a Cardinals error, and a Tommy Pham two-run single provided all the scoring Pittsburgh needed. The bullpen held strong to clinch the season series over the Cardinals.
