The North Shore Nine Postgame Show powered by Primanti Bros. recapped a frustrating night at PNC Park as the Pirates fell 4–1 to the Brewers. Jim and Ryan described the game as a “snooze fest,” with the offense mustering just five hits and going 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position. Mitch Keller turned in another strong outing, working 6.1 innings of two-run ball, but one mistake to Jake Bauers proved costly. Meanwhile, Brandon Woodruff once again had the Pirates’ number, carving through the lineup as Pittsburgh’s bats struck out looking repeatedly.
The hosts highlighted Brian Reynolds’ two-hit night on his bobblehead giveaway, Nick Yorke’s missed chances in big moments, and Kyle Nicolas’ continued run of scoreless relief. They also touched on IShowSpeed’s first pitch and batting cage appearance with Andrew McCutchen, which was arguably more entertaining than the game itself. Looking ahead, they previewed Bubba Chandler’s highly anticipated first MLB start against top Brewers prospect Jacob Misiorowski.
