The North Shore Nine Postgame Show, powered by Primanti Bros, dug into another ugly night of Pirates baseball as Pittsburgh fell to the Cubs 4–1. Paul Skenes opened with rare command issues, surrendering three runs in the first and never fully settling in. Despite striking out five and keeping the damage minimal after that, he took the loss and dropped to 10–10 with a 2.03 ERA.

Unfortunately, the offense was even worse. The Bucs managed just four hits—one a first-inning triple by Oneil Cruz, who struck out in his next three at-bats. Henry Davis snapped an 0-for-20 skid with a soft opposite-field single, but strikeouts piled up and scoring chances vanished. Bullpen arms Justin Lawrence and Carmen Mlodzinski combined for 5.1 innings of one-run ball to keep the game within reach, but the bats never answered.

With ten games left and a 1–10 slide erasing all late-summer optimism, this team needs an offseason overhaul.
