North Shore Nine

First off, we want to thank each of you for supporting North Shore Nine throughout the year on whatever platform of your choosing. If you haven’t noticed, we aren’t just a podcast anymore. We have a fast growing YouTube page, a TikTok, an Instagram, a Facebook page, a Discord channel, and we launched this blog in November.

The growth we’ve seen this year is a result of a lot of hard work from everyone here and the support you all have shown us. So let’s talk about that growth!

YouTube

2,557 New Subscribers – We really focused on growing this during the past year. It’s wild to think that on January 1st, we had just 320 subscribers. As of writing this, we now have 2,877.

2,071,744 Views – Over 2 million sets of eyeballs watched NS9 YouTube content in 2023, which is just bonkers.

1,042 Published Videos – You’ll be hard pressed to find any other Pittsburgh Pirates content creators pumping out the amount of stuff we do.

3 New Postgame Hosts – The addition of Doug, Neil, and Connor to help with postgame shows allowed us to give you 159 live episodes this past season following games.

15 wNS9+ Episodes – We had a star-studded field of guests this past year featuring LSU coach Jay Johnson, Jim Callis, Neil Walker, Michael McKenry, Dallas Braden, Eric Longenhagen, Dejan Kovacevic, Dan Szymborski, Jason Mackey, Alex Stumpf, Stephen Nesbitt, and more!

368 Members – Discord has been a huge success as we are really building a great community of Pirates fans who can all interact and talk about things going on with the team. There are also a variety of other topics discussed in the server and it has become a really good way to connect on a more personal level with other Pirates fans.

Blog

We kicked this off in November and have been getting into a decent groove. We have A LOT in store for you all in 2024 including plans to bring on more contributors.
