Last Four Byes:
Virginia: near lock to make the NCAA tournament
Northwestern: will likely be dancing again
Oklahoma: will be sweating Selection Sunday if they lose to TCU tomorrow
Colorado: in the field as long as they don’t face and lose to Arizona State in the Pac-12 tournament
Last Four In:
Mississippi St.: Thursday’s matchup with LSU might be a must-win
Seton Hall: likely a lock with a win against St. John’s
Pittsburgh: will likely face Wake Forest in the ACC quarterfinals, which could become a play-in game to reach Dayton
St. John’s: will likely fall out of the projected field with a loss to Seton Hall
First Four Out:
Indiana St.: in the mix for an at-large bid; will enter the ‘Last Four In’ if teams around them lose
New Mexico: missed a huge opportunity Saturday at Utah State; must win at least two games in the MWC tournament
Texas A&M: I believe the Aggies need at least two wins in the SEC tournament; could still be in the mix with one win
Wake Forest: must win at least two games in the ACC tournament to remain in contention for an at-large bid
Next Four Out:
Villanova: need at least two wins in the Big East tournament; might need three wins
Ohio St.: likely need to reach the Big Ten finals for a chance at an at-large bid
Providence: likely need to reach the Big East finals to be in the mix for an at-large bid
Butler: likely need to reach the Big East finals to be in the mix for an at-large bid
