Chase Anderson gets his first start of the spring for the Pirates today at LECOM Park. He will face Lopez and the Atlanta Braves. Anderson looks to impress and try to force himself into an Opening Day roster spot. The other Pirates probably pitchers today are Josh Fleming, Colin Holderman, Ryan Borucki, Kyle Nicolas and Wily Peralta.

Derek Shelton has a number of opening day starters in the lineup today at LECOM. With Oneil Cruz, Bryan Reynolds, Ke’Bryan Kayes, Jack Suwinski, Rowdy Tellez and Jared Triolo rounding out your top six spots of the lineup. Billy McKinney gets the start today in RF as he fights for the 4th outfielder spot. Nick Gonzales sees his first action in the last week at SS today. Gonzales has a lot to prove as his chances to make the Opening Day roster are dwindling. Jason Delay is catching Anderson today and batting 9th.
