PIT- Jared Jones (1-2, 4.00) vs.
NYM- Jose Quintana (1-1. 3.45)

Jared Jones takes the hill tonight looking to get the Pirates back on track. He will go up against a familiar face in Jose Quintana. The Pirates will need to work to meld the patient plate approach with swinging at pitches in the middle of the strike zone. After getting into the bullpen last night Pirates need to have the same plan, keep Jones out there for seven innings. Then get into the Mets pen early. To be able to do both will help set the tone for the rest of the series.
Derek Shelton uses his lefty killing line-up again today. Michael A. Taylor is back in the lineup playing Centerfield. Connor Joe get the nod at leadoff playing 1B, and Alika Williams give a struggling Oneil Cruz a day off. This should be a good lineup to go up against Quintana.
