Following a loss at the hands of the Giants last night, the Pirates will look to even up this series tonight.

Martin Perez will take the mound for the Pirates, having pitched well so far this season. He will look to successfully follow Quinn Priester‘s six shutout innings last night.

For the Giants, a somewhat familiar face will take the mound. Jordan Hicks, former Cardinals reliever, has transitioned well to a rotation spot in San Francisco. The Pirates will look to end Hicks’ streak of early-season success.

Offensively, the Pirates must bounce back from being shut out last night. Notably, Oneil Cruz will get the night off.
