The Pittsburgh Pirates lost 11-7, Bailey Falter went four innings, and the bullpen gave up a plethora of runs.

Bailey Falter was unable to be as sharp as he has been to start the game. Four straight hits including a 3-run homerun greeted Falter out of the gate. He was able to strike out the next but a single next gave the Dodgers a 4-0 lead. In the bottom of the 2nd the Pirates were able to claw a run back off a Jack Suwinski single. In the bottom of the 3rd Edward Olivares had a Sac-fly to cut the score to 4-2. Then Nick Gonzales happened, smashing a 2-run homerun to tie the gave at 4 a piece.
In the 5th Falter gave up a lead off homerun to Teoscar Hernadez, giving the Dodgers a 5-4 lead and chasing Falter from the game. Ben Heller then took over and things went off the rails. A blink of an eye later it was 10-4 Dodgers going into the bottom of the 5th.
In the Top of the 6th the Dodgers add another to push the lead to 11-4. The Pirates would score 3 over the rest of the game but it would not be enough as they would fall 11-7.
Pirate will be back in action tomorrow as the Minnesota twins come to town for 3 games.
