The Pirates beat the Orioles 5-4 today, moving to 7-2 on the season. The hero of the game was Oneil Cruz, who walked it off on an RBI single in the 11th.

Bailey Falter started the game, pitching 6 innings of scoreless ball, allowing just one hit. He carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning. It was broken up by a Jorge Mateo double, which resulted from a miscommunication between Jack Suwinski and Alika Williams. Ryder Ryan gave up two runs in his only inning of work. The Pirates led the game heading into the 9th inning, but David Bednar blew the save by allowing a run.

Offensively, Joey Bart impressed in his Pirates debut, crushing a two-run homer in his first at-bat and a double in the next. Rowdy Tellez also had a solid performance, tallying two singles, an RBIs, and a run.

The Pirates return to action tomorrow at 1:35, hoping to take the series. Marco Gonzales take the mound for the Pirates, while Dean Kremer starts for the Orioles.
