Seriously, at what point does the front office realize they need to clean house? Any other team would’ve canned their manager for this performance since the all star break. FFS the NHL saw coaches with winning records canned in order to jolt the team into contention.

It wasn’t the WBC! It was 3 innings! What happened was that the league has figured him out! If he’s “worn out” because of 3 extra innings 1 month early, then he should give back all the awards and hype he received! Does anyone remember when Tim Wakefield arrived on scene with the pirates?! He was un hittable until he wasn’t. The league figured out how to hit the knuckleball and he wasn’t the superstar like he was, same thing here!

I think I’m done saying “today is the day they turn it back around.”

Last night was the last straw for me. Skenes lasted 5 innings, would’ve got the loss regardless, but the defense did him -2 favors, costing a run, and the offense couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn if they lived in it. Against a righty. I held hope out until last night. This team is toast. Clean House as soon as the team gets back in town.
