Probable Starters:
PIT – Bailey Falter (2-2, 4.22 ERA)
COL – Ryan Feltner (1-2, 5.13 ERA)
Bailey Falter is on the mound as the Pirates try to win their first series since the PNC opener versus the Orioles. He will be facing off versus Ryan Feltner and the Rockies who are looking for their first series win of the season. It is unlikely the Pirates can win in after 26 outs like they did last night. 10 hits in the series versus the lowly Rockies through two games is a travesty. The lumber company better punch back in today else it will be a long season.
Derek Shelton is able to mix and match his lineup versus the right-handed Feltner today. That starts with Connor Joe if RF and leading off. Ke’Bryan Hayes, Oneil Cruz and Rowdy Tellez are your 3,4,5 today. We also see Edward Olivares at DH and Alika Williams at 2B. Pirates will need to get this lineup to hit today if they want to take their first series in a month.
